The software is uploaded to the computer from an original disk image (eg ADF for Amiga), which is stored on a USB flash drive. This version of the hardware uses FlashFloppy firmware, which adds a lot of new features and improvements over the standard Gotek. On the given link of the creator, you will find detailed descriptions of all functions and settings, as well as the latest firmware.

Format the USB flash drive to FAT32 and upload disk images to it that you want to run, e.g. ADF for Amiga connect the Gotek V2 with an inserted USB flash drive to the Amiga (instead of the internal floppy drive), it’s a good idea to measure the power connector before connecting, so that you don’t put 12V into the Gotek V2 instead of 5V, due to the connector being reversed! turn on the Amiga, the display will show the first of the supported files you have loaded and you can select between them with the rotary encoder when you click on the file and wait 2s, it will start automatically (it will be inserted into the floppy drive). This can be changed in the settings so that it does not start automatically. Then it will be necessary to press the rotary encoder to insert it into the mechanism. if you want to change the scrolling orientation in the files (turning the encoder right/left to scroll the files up/down), it can be changed in the settings. if the file selection moves by one item only after two or four encoder turns, this can also be adjusted in the settings
